We met the Association immediately after we had accidentally known about it. New life-blood and enthusiasm for the Xlestrade project during this hot summer!
Xlestrade met Angelo D’Auria, the President of the Association Amici di Lumuma Onlus, set in Grugliasco (TO).
Lumuma is the name of the village in Tanzania where the Association has worked since 2002.
Before he took in touch with this village, Angelo has been volunteering for two years in the village of Sanza, in Tanzania. In this occasion he met and became a good friend of Sister Jiuliana Mwazu from the S. Gemma Galgani Sisters local congregation.

L’Association a été officiellement constituée en 2004 après un voyage de solidarité dans la région du Debub, en Érythrée. Ce groupe de bénévoles avait l’objectif di financer la construction de 2 puits dans les villages de Hawatsu et de Berhenet, avec la collaboration des Rotary Clubs de Turin, de Alba, de Bra et de Canale (CN).
